I sold an item to a customer, the money was on hold but they said it was a gift and could I send it to a different address the very next day. I sent it signed for and it was delivered. They then opened up a claim saying they didn’t purchase it. Paypal contacted me and I told them I’d sent the item and what happened, but today they closed the claim and refunded the buyer. How can I get my money? I’ve lost a £400 camera and there is nobody answering the paypal phone lines. I’m not a seasoned ebay seller this is literally my first sold item ever.
