I sold an item for £900 on eBay. I received the money in my paypal account instantly from buyer. I then received a message through ebay saying post to ... address. I then receive a message from eBay 5 DAYS later saying the buyers account had been compromised. Paypal then refunded the buyer and im down £900. I know now seller protection only covers you if the postal address is the same. Any ideas how I can get my money back?

Did you send to the PAYPAL registered address of the buyer at the time of the transaction or the one that was added to EBAY?

ok if that was not the same as the paypal registered address then you would not be covered
If you did then you would have been covered by paypal seller protection.
always send to the paypal registered address of the buyer.
