Buyer wants item sent to address different to their registered address

Hi guys I just sold an item on eBay but the buyer wants it shipped to an address different to their registered one I’m a bit dubious as I believe I would have no come back if they claimed a refund for non delivery.what do you think ?

Tell them to add a gift address to their paypal account and then select and use that address when they use checkout to pay.

Refund? You would lose your fee but that may be cheaper than losing your item or full payment?

Thanks for your help,fortunately the buyer has agreed to have the item sent to their home address.
