Buyer's cancelling payment after receiving item

Hi there

I have quite a few items of jewellery to auction but a friend warned me that sometimes buyers receive the item and then cancel the payment. Has anyone experienced this or is it nothing to worry about? Thanks 😉

Buyers cannot cancel completed payments, only echeques can fail but paypal tells you to not send an item until the payment has completed.

Also you may be subject to the new seller hold but that is a different entity and between you and paypal and the buyer has nothing to do with it.

However buyers can raise disputes for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described up to 180 days post payment so you need to read up on paypals seller protection policy so you can risk assess your transactions.
