why does it say there is no account with my friends acc when they try the forgot password

So my friend reset their phone and from that forgot their paypal log in but when they try the forgot password it and puts in her username it says there are no accounts with that name, she has also tried every email that she has and none of them are to the account, i tried sending her a little money over it to see if she would get an email about it and so she knows what email but she didnt get anything id appreciate the help

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear there's been some confusion with your friend's PayPal account. While they may have issues logging in if the account was deleted, PayPal would not normally automatically close an account to protect a user. However, PayPal may lock and / or permanently limit an account to protect a user's account or for security reasons.
With that in mind, its best for your friend to reach out to PayPal Customer Support for assistance.
