If you made a mistake or are having trouble with your PayPal account, our Help & Contact available to help you.
Before closing your account:
► If you have money in your PayPal account, you override the transfer to your bank account.
► Once your balance is zero, don't forget to delete your bank account and card information.
► Any pending payment request will be automatically cancelled.
You can close your PayPal account by accessing the site on a browser, but not through the PayPal app.
To close your account:
Go to your Settings.
Click Close your account at the bottom left.
► You cannot reopen an account once it has been closed, but you can open a new account instead.
