how to notify Paypal when account owner has passed away without an Estate

My husband passed away last year and I still receive his Paypal credit card statements.  I followed the instuctions on the back of the statement and uploaded a copy of his death certificate on the Synchrony Bank website.  I still receive Paypal credit card statements.   How do I let Paypal know the account owner has passed away?   The message assistant only provides a link on how to closed a deceased relative's account where the deceased had an Estate and only the Estate administrator is able to close the account.  My husband did not have an Estate (he did not have any probate assets) so this link is not helpful for me.  Has anyone else had this issue and how did you notify Paypal?   thank you.

Sorry to hear that, why not reach out to customer services and let them know?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
