Dear all,
I am really angry. Some days ago I created a new paypal business account. All went fine, I could insert my company mail address and our bank information where I received the code to verify the bank account with a 1 cent money transfer only one day later. When this was done I setup Microsoft Authenticator for security reasons. Tested it and everything was working perfect.
TODAY I had to buy something for the company, I put in my login credentials, received the code within the authenticator app and after that got the message that my account could not be verified. That´s it. So I decided to give them a call and a computer voice asked me for my mobile number, I put it in..... and again...... we could not verify you.
Well, it looks to me that the reason for that is that I took the same mobile number for our company account that I have already taken for my private account (which is still working). But, however I do only have that ONE mobile number and not a 2nd one for the company.
Any suggestions? BTW I am German but I could not change the language in here and wasn´t sure if my question is reaching German support.

Update on this. I just had a call with the hotline for about an hour, unfortunately without a result. It seems that it is imposible to use the Microsoft Authenticator with a private AND a business account next to each other, at least when using only one mobile number. As soon as 2 factor is enabled I am blocked and get this "you could not be verified" message. This means to me I delete the business account now. Using a company account without 2 factor is absolutely no option for us. Ordering a second phone number only to use paypal isnt an option as well.
@Paypal Technical Support: You should take a deeper look into this and find a solution. I guess I am not the only customer using a private and a business account next to each other.
