Unknown Address Has Suddenly Appeared in My PayPal Profile

Why has an address which I am totally unfamiliar with (and is in a completely different state from me) suddenly shown up in my PayPal profile??...and is even marked as 'preferred address'...

Hi,

I just discovered three TOTALLY unknown addresses in my profile.

Calling and trying to talk to customer service - even a supervisor - was a JOKE and complete waste of a LOT of time.

Where did these bogus addresses come from? Why are they on my account?

Yes - I've removed them BUT why?
