Hello,

I wanted to use my paypal account for a purchase but for some reason paypal wants to verify my account through a phone number that I never used and is unkown for me.

Phone number seems to be a landline type number.

I have no idea how that landline number got on my account.

So I tried to reset that password but even so I get the following error: Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you

I mean, I used the same location I always used to login and still no luck.

Even logging into the community account wasnt easy. Most of the times I get the Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you error.

For some reason sometimes logging seems to work but most of the times it doesnt.

 

What seems to be the problem here?

I am sorry to know that you're having trouble while logging into your PayPal account and I understand this can be frustrating. For this type of situations, I would recommend you to contact PayPal Customer Support Team directly so that they can help you gain access to your account. You can contact the team by clicking the "Contact us" option at the bottom of PayPal page. Support is also available through Facebook by sending PM, Twitter and Instagram on DM.
