My boyfriend had an account created with his email (hacked). He contacted Paypal to inform them and they cancelled the account.
Now that he wants to create a Paypal account with his email, a message informs him that the account still exists. And when trying to retrieve the password, Paypal sends an error "something went wrong on our side".
