Regular login not working

I've run across a number of links to paypal payment that end with just getting the spinning icon, and will never log in to make payment.

Found that if I open this link before. https://www.paypal.com/signin?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

It will let me login, and then if I use the same link to make payment it works just fine?

Don't know why this happens, before had no issues. Don't know if it is because I'm from US Territory of Guam, or the IP address I have or what.

Just a little inconvenient to have to do the special connection before making payment. Even direct login to paypal does it?

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing your account! Please try clearing cache/cookies and also try using a different browser or device to access your PayPal account. Also, please make sure you are logging from a secure location and avoid using any VPN’s or Proxy Servers.

I had tried with Firefox, Chrome and Opera, and got same results.

Tried clearing cache on all, and same results.

Didn't try clearing paypal cookies.

Just went to check it, and login went fine now??

www.paypal.com

Then it went to

https://www.paypal.com/us/home
https://www.paypal.com/signin

And the login worked just fine, so nothing changed on my end.

Before had to use https://www.paypal.com/signin?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US for the sign in to work?
So looks like it has been fixed. Thanks.
