So I was going to close my account when It then told me that I had a pending transaction. I looked into it and saw that I didn't have any pending transactions and maybe it was because I had some subscriptions. I've now disconnected my account from all subscriptions and it still says the same thing, why can't I close my account?
I would allow a couple of weeks, only when you pay for something and fund it from a bank account, paypal credit the seller upfront and then paypal wait for your funds to transfer from your bank account, that can be up to a week, so have you bought something recently?

PayPal also won’t allow me to close an account that has never been used. Seconds after I attempted to close it PayPal sent me $5. Now they won’t let me close it because of the balance.
