PayPal account got banned years ago for being underage any way to recover it?

Hello, sorry if this is in the wrong category but about 6 years ago my PayPal account was banned after I didn't type in my social security number and now I need to use PayPal to receive payments for an online job and can't because my account is banned.

So what do I do now? I am 21 now and making a new account will just get me banned and last time I messaged customer service they told me nothing could be done. I heard that just proving my age via ID will get my account back but I am not sure.

Thanks in advance!

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.

PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will need to be verified to accept funds into your balance or lift any limits.
As you would be unable to verify your account it would be permanently locked for further use.

You would never be able to use that illegally opened underage account again but once 18 Paypal may allow you to open a new account.

Opening a new account is not guaranteed as you have already broken Paypal rules once so if they have said no there isn't much you can do about it.
