No way to log in with changed phone number

Phone number changed long ago. Can't reach customer service during business hours, but only a bot. Which doesn't answer how to change the phone number for login? - without being able to log in.

Is there a way to delete the paypal account? Since there doesn't seem to be a way to ever log in again, with a changed phone number?

If you get the bot then keep saying customer services or agent a few times.

The guest phone I used to get to the bot. Though it does speak German, I'll try 'customer service' or 'agent' a few times tomorrow. Thanks, will let you know if it worked.
