I've changed my mobile number but need my old one for the two step verification. I can't get into my account to change my phone number.

Hello, @Sarahlmac1233. I'm sorry to hear you've had any difficulty logging on to your PayPal account. Due to security requirements, it's necessary to have you communicate with Customer Service via a secure channel in order to assist you.

 

To check out the options that are available, please navigate to https://www.paypal.com, click Contact at the bottom of the page, and then select the topic that best fits your concern. Please review each page in full after selecting a topic so you see all of the prompts/links that might lead to a secure channel.

 

Alternately, you may send a Facebook Private Message to reach Customer Service (https://www.facebook.com/paypal) or you may send a Twitter DM to @AskPayPal.

 

Lastly, as a temporary work around, you might want to consider creating a new account so you can use the service. You will need to use a different email address, but you will be able to close the new account once you regain access to the old account, or you could close the old account and add the email address to any new account, if you prefer.
