Landline phone number verification problem

I cannot log into my account as phone number verification is required and the procedure has already failed 3 times: i have typed the 4-digit code at my landline phone device (didn't have a mobile phone at the time of registration) but it is not recognized by Paypal's system. I have tried both PULSE and TONE dialing modes, but it doesn't seem to work. I have also tried to contact Paypal by phone but i can't figure out what i should do as the recorded message volume is too low and i am not a native speaker. Is there any other way to login to my account?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

I don't see any option to send a message (should be logged in i guess) and live chat is not available. I will create an account on a social media platform and try to contact them through it.
