I have not attached my bank with my paypal, can I still rename my account?

I have recently opened my account and I want to change the name of my account, when I try to change the name they are requesting me to upload a document with my bank details that has my name on it that I have connected with my paypal. I have not attached my bank with my paypal, can I still rename my account?

All they want is proof that you own a bank account in your legal name, so upload your bank statement copy.
