I am not getting any verification code on my phone. Actually i created my account in 2016 after that i was inactive till yesterday. My nationality is Indian but on my profile it is showing US. I am unable to add my card to my account.
Paypal is country specific so you have to open a paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.
You can't use another countries paypal account, your best bet is to close this account and open one in the country where you live.
