How to change the birthdate and name at the same time?

Hello, I am a 17 years old and wants to close the account, and I signed up for my paypal account with a fake birthdate and name. However, the service requires me to verify my identity. And I can't do anything about it because when I tried to change my name, they said my birthdate is not same as the id cards. So I am close my account. Thank you. Also, if I close my account, can I sign up for the new one again once I am over 18 with the same device, email, card, and address? Thank you for answering.

So you opened an illegal minor account with a fake name and birthdate. 

Unlikely you can close the account as it will probably soon be permanently limited if it hasn't already.

Sometimes paypal allow a new account to be opened at 18 but as you have broken 3 of their rules already I don't hold out a lot of hope.

When you are 18 reach out to customer services and ask?

I called to the customer service yesterday. They said I can sign up a new account as soon I over 18. Or change the information in my account and close it. Also, I want to remove my card in my paypal account, but the system doesn't allow me. Is there any solution or I need to verify?

Some call centre staff at paypal don't always know the full facts.

You won't be able to ever close that account, it would be permanently limited as an illegally opened minor account, this is to stop you removing anything from it to try and open another account.

Secondly whilst they may say you can open another account at 18 you may well hit issues so nothing is guaranteed until you are 18 and try it.

I have known customer services tell folks they can open one at 18 but when they try the system states no. Good luck though.
