My daughter received a text message telling her she had subscribed to a service and if she didn’t text STOP she would be charged £4.50 per week. She sent stop and was charged. Our network provider have given us the details of the company that charged her and have said it’s up to us to get a refund from them. They have said they will issue a refund but either want to do it via PayPal or do a direct bank transfer. I’m not happy to give them my bank details. How safe am I using PayPal? Is there anyway they can take money out of the account?
