How do I update the username under my account?

If you’re referring to user id associated with PayPal.me link, please contact customer service. If not, contact them anyway.
1. https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us
2. Scroll down to click “Call Us” option after the “Common Issues” section.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
