How can I change my old phone number with my new one on my Paypal acoount?

How can I change my old phone number on my Paypal acoount and add in the new one when I dont have the old one to get a text or a call from Paypal?

Yes, I can log in. Im talking about doing that online and not on the app. When I got to change my number, it automatically says, either to text me on my old number a code or to call me on my old phone and it doesnt give me an option to go another route.

Thank you for the link. However that's where I have a problem. The code they want to send me will go to the old phone number and not the new one. So I have no way of confirming it's me. When I put my new number in they say they'll send a code to this..*** phone number to verify the change. This phone number however it's my old one. Is there any way I can verify via email??? Thank you again

That may be an option but you would need to go via customer services to sort it.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
