Having problems with iOS app version 8.11.0 on iPad 9

I'm having problems with iOS app version 8.11.0 on iPad 9. I'm getting an error message saying "Please check your information and try again." but the same info allows me to log in to the website with no problems. Is there a bug in the app?

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
