For some reason when I sent some money to my friend today I was charged a fee of 2.99 but when I sent the same amount last month I was only charge 15 cents. Any idea why the fee was so high this time? I was under the impression sending to friends was free but since last month was the first time I sent money to anyone in a while was there a change in policy made? I sent the money from my paypal balance as well and have my back account linked so I can't figure out why there was a fee. Also i got a message that the funds wouldn't be released to her until May 14th is that normal?
