Face ID not working, tried all suggestions found so far.

PayPal will not use Face ID for logging in. I’ve made sure Face ID is turned on in the PayPal app and in the PayPal area in my phone’s settings. I’ve also tried turning Face ID off and on again and I don’t have any special characters in my phone’s name. What else can I try? It’s an iPhone 12.

Welcome to the PayPal community! I understand that you are facing issues with logging into your PayPal account and your Face ID is not able to work, despite you turning it off and on. There is no easy way of saying this, however, login issues are sensitive, and to fix this you will need to get in touch with us over the phone. It involves verbal verification related to the information on your PayPal account.

I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams by clicking "Contact" at the bottom of any PayPal page for further assistance.
