I can understand it can be a bit concerning when you're being asked to type in an authorization code more often than you expected. it sounds like you may be encountering The Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2), an EU directive regulating payment services in the European Economic Area. In short, it "introduces two-factor authentication for online transactions, known as "Strong Customer Authentication" (SCA)." I'm sorry to say there is not a way to remove or disable this feature.
