DELETE MY ACCOUNT!!!

"Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you."
I received the message " Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you", although I used their verification number and created a new password for my account. 
I haven't been using PayPal for many years and now I meant to pay for an item.
I cannot log in! 

DELETE MY ACCOUNT!!!
