Customer service can't verify me?

They are saying they can't verify my account because my address is incorrect. I am reading it right off the PayPal screen. I have never experienced anything so incompetent in my life. I am still on hold for an hour so far waiting for someone to help.
I can really use any advice negotiating what is happening here.
