Close my account WITHOUT access to account

Jesus I am having such a hard time with this one. I have a UK account. I live in Australia. In order to login to my account I need to verify it with my old UK phone number than hasn't been active in years. I need to close my UK account and open a new Australian one. I am absolutely unable log in to my UK account without phone verification (tried resetting passwords etc. it will not play). I just want to close this account and I don't even care anymore if it has a balance on there (though I'm fairly certain it doesn't). I also for some reason am totally unable to call paypal, I can't get through to the UK from here and the Australian guys can't help me. For the love of god I am begging for help.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
