I'm sorry to hear that you'd like to close your PayPal account. If you want to close your PayPal account due to unauthorized activity, please report the activity first by following the steps on our Help Center here: How do I report an unauthorized transaction or account activity? If it's for any other account-related issues, our Customer Support would be happy to look into them with you. You can reach out to Customer Support on our website by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any page. 

Before closing your account, you'll want to review and cancel any subscriptions, and if you have a limitation, that must be resolved first. If you receive any error messages, it could be because of a recent pending payment. All payments need to be completely cleared before an account is closed. We also typically recommend waiting 180 days since your last payment, which allows you time to file a dispute if you don't receive an item or it is significantly different from what was described.
