I am trying to close my PayPal account but I am encountering an error message that says ‘This account needs a little help to link it. Contact us and we can help with that, or you can link a different account.’ When I attempt to delete my data, I am redirected to this link: https://www.paypal.com/authflow/verification-failed/.
My account is fully verified with my passport, phone number, email, and a six-digit code from two-factor authentication. I am located in Russia and I am unable to link a card to my account. I have tried all the methods described in support documentation but none of them worked for me.
I have written to customer service multiple times, but I only receive responses from a bot that is unable to assist me (I am unable to call customer service). I am unable to create a ticket as they are only available for account operations and my issue with account deletion does not fall under this category. I have tried writing to paypal old email addresses, but the response is always the same - this email is no longer serviced. I even wrote to you on Twitter, but received no response.
I simply want to close my account and delete my data. I appreciate your assistance with this matter.
