Cannot add 2nd email, claims linked to another account?

I'm trying to add a 2nd email to my PayPal account, but whenever I add the 2nd email it says it's linked to an account already... but I only have 1 PayPal. So I try to login w the email in question and it keeps saying something went wrong...I try the forgot password and when I enter that email to have them send the link,, it just keeps saying something went wrong.. I do have a venmo account setup w the email I'm trying to add to my PayPal , and that email is the primary email on my venmo, and my paypal's primary email isn't linked to my venmo account at all I do not believe... I wonder if that could possibly be the account its linked to??? If I link my venmo to the other email (my primary email on paypal) , would I then be able to use the 2nd email (the primary email on my venmo) in my paypal? Idk if they're linked together like that or what. Venmo and paypal... I know they're both owned by the same company, but I don't see how that would cause issues w my paypal account... And on the off chance that is the issue, is there any way to link my venmo to my PayPal accounts even if they're under different Emails?

Thank you for making a post.
I see you're facing issues to link a secondary email to your account. However, you're getting error that it is already linked with a different account. Also, you're unable to login to the other account. If you're given an option to reset the password, it means there is an account with the same email. I would recommend you to contact PayPal directly over the phone or via Facebook or Twitter so that they can help you with the situation.
