Cannot access my account

Help!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting extremely frustrated and annoyed now. I cannot login to my account as this stupid method of verification of my account does not work. I do not receive any text messages or any calls from PayPal with the code. My mobile number is still the same and nothing else has change. I have spoken to them and they said that there was an issue which would be solved with 72 hours, well that has well passed now. This is holding me up now and needs to be resolved. When you speak to an agent they give you the most comical answers. Do I set up a new account?, but I don't see why I should as this has been linked to my details for quite a long time.
