Can't Close Business Account, Don't Have Documents Needed

I want to close my account as it is a business account. I don't need a business account.

I have limitations as they want documentation which I don't have so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I tried opening a personal account but the code sms never comes through to my phone.

Yes, I can receive sms's and the phone number is correct. Paypal is the only site that the sms's don't come through. I uses sms verification at work as well and I receive those sms's, so its not my phone.

There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, you have to contact customer services and they will do that for you.
If you have limitations that you can't resolve then only customer services can advise.

You have a South African registered paypal account so are you in S.A and not trying to use paypal in a non supported country?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
