Can I have a PayPal account for each of the countries I live in?

Hi, I'm from New Zealand but I'm currently living in Hungary. My family may return to New Zealand soon as my father is very sick. I want to change my PayPal account to a european account so that I can update the country and my phone number to my european details but I cannot do this without closing and opening a new account. I don't want to lose all my paypal history and I don't want to go through the hassle of closing my european acocunt and creating a new New Zealand account when I return to New Zealand.

Is it legal for me to simply create a european PayPay account under a different email address and store my European credit cards there and maintain my NZ ones on my NZ PayPal account?

You are only allowed x2 paypal accounts if x1 is personal and the other x1 is business, if you have 2 of the same type you risk them both being limited. However Paypal sometimes allow a 2nd business account but you have to get approval from customer services first.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
