Adding an administrator

Hi

I have been appointed by the court as an Administrator and Guardian to handle my mother's affairs. Therefore, she has given me authority to log into and use her account.

1) I called the Help line to ask a question about the account, and was told that I need to be added as an authorised person/contact. However, this does not possible for a Personal account.

2) I am trying to pay a bill. The payment method for a bank account is not available under my mother's Paypal account, but it is available for my Paypal account. Any ideas? There doesn't appear to be any restrictions on the account (i.e. bank account has been approved; I can add my credit card to the payment methods which is the only thing that appears)/

Congratulations for your first post in the PayPal Help Community!

I understand that you want to add your card to your mother's account to pay the bills. To link a bank account/card, the information registered on your PayPal account must match the information on your bank account/card. You cannot link a bank account to a PayPal account which is not registered under the account holder's name.
