"this type of phone number isn't supported"

hello. i used the this number (*******744) to make my paypal account. everything was fine up until today (5/16/2022) where as logging in i recieved a prompt asking me to connect a number which is confusing since i already had a number connected... i then procced to get this error "this type of phone number isn't supported" after typing in this number (*******744). i want access to my paypal as soon as possible because if i keep getting this error i want to remove the credit card which i connected YESTERDAY!

Is it a mobile phone number registered in your name?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
