Somebody tried to hack/log in to my account, paypal blocked it and I can't restore it

Hello, today somebody was trying to log into my account. On PC browser it says, the credentials are incorrect. On mobile app says, too many login attempts and account was locked. When I try to restore my password, I get error: "sorry something went wrong on our end. please try again". Any solutions?

Welcome to the PayPal community and thank you for your post.

 

In this situation, the best thing to do would be to contact our Customer Care department. You can do this by going to the ‘Contact Us’ link at the bottom of every PayPal page. You will then see what contact options are available to you.
