Lost all my transaction history after filling out some business information

I tried to make a loan payment, like I've done every month for the past several months. I used PayPal every time, just like I've done hundreds of times before, paying for things using my paypal account.

Well, this time I got some error. So I logged into my PayPal account, and it asked me to "verify" so that I could accept payments.

Um, ok? Why? Whatever I'll verify.

 

So I answer a bunch of questions about my business, and when I finally finished, I noticed that all my transaction history is gone. My account no longer seems to be connected to my bank account like it was before. It's like a brand new account.

What the hell happened??

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some confusion after a recent loan payment attempt. Is it possible you've created a new account with a new email address instead of logging in with email address you have registered with PayPal? If that's not the case, I would recommend reaching out to our Customer Support teams to start tracking down what happened here.
