Linking FNB to South African Bank Account for Paypal Money

Hi to those from South Africa. 

I recently created an FNB account to withdraw my Paypal money. However, it first has to verify with my bank, Absa. Next to my account number from absa it says "Verification Pending". How long does that usually take? and are there any steps one can take?
