Is there any way to change your account from business to personal?

I converted my account from a personal to a business account years ago when I had a small business. I no longer need a business account as I do not have that business anymore, but am unable to use PayPal without verifying my business information. Is there a way to convert it back to a personal account?

There is no automatic way to downgrade a business account to a personal account, you have to contact customer services and they will do that for you.

Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

OR
You could just close your business account (removing all subscriptions / financial info etc first) and open a personal one.

I am in the same situation except I can't even close my account. I have tried and tried to contact someone but I wait for 30 minutes and then I get the line busy sound. I just want to have a personal PayPal account. I need help!
