Im trying to edit email but it wont let me change a case sensitive error

It wont let me change a case sensitive error on my email I just need to change the lowercase to an uppercase j >J the system keeps automatically changing it to a lowercase tho I need it to be capital for account verifying a payment emails have to match exact I have removed the email and tried reapplying with the case correction but it changes it to lowercase although I applied the capitalization

Email addresses are not case sensitive in general. As long as you can receive the emails, it should be ok. Did PayPal say that the capitalization of email address is a problem? That is first time I have heard of email lettercasing having to “match”. PayPal usually require the name, billing address on PayPal account match bank statements and photo ID, passports but not email addresses. Email addresses are verified/confirmed by you being able to receive email from PayPal to confirm the address.
