Do account type change affect all previous transactions, and their receipts?

When I change the account type. Both ways, no matter if from personal to business or from business to personal. After I do so, do only new transactions get affected by the change on the receipt, meaning on personal it will show the name of the person but on business, it shows the business name, or also all old transaction which has been made as the previous account type get affected. 

The support team gave conflicting answers
