Can I stop others from seeing my email address when they make a donation to my personal account?

I have a personal account and want to start taking donations on my websites. My email address is provided to the person once they have paid their donation on Paypal (I had a friend test it out), and I don't want my email address out there. Can I remove this anywhere? I found posts online stating that you can replace the email with a business name if you have a business account, but I don't want to upgrade to a business account. It seems that the business accounts don't have some of the features I'm used to, and the fees are higher. Does anyone know a work around? I am considering replacing the email to a custom email just for this purpose, but I do use my account a lot and don't want to be spammed/contacted by donors via email.

It would be great if Paypal could provide a workaround for this!

Can’t stop others from seeing your email address and there is no way it can be removed. That’s how transactions work. Both parties see each other’s email address so they know who they are conducting transactions with. You can add a different email address to receive donations with if you do not want the public to know your private email address. Or open a separate business account as ‘Individual’.

The fees are the same for sending/receiving donations with personal and business accounts, unless you are registered charity or non-profit to be eligible a discount:
