Paypal have limited my account because of some 'suspicious activity' on my account in a country I am not resident in. I submitted my documents in Feb. to prove I was the owner of the account. It is now May. I am blocked from entering PayPal while this is resolved so I can't send a complaints email and when I tried ringing I was on an expensive 'hold' for 15 minutes.
Have others experienced this disgraceful service? I don't even know what this 'suspicious activity' was, or whether someone has taken money from me as there has been no further communication from Paypal. This is really shoddy.
Paypal is country specific so if you use it in another country it would trigger security as they would think your account was hijacked and being used without your consent.
I would phone them again, its FREE from a UK landline.
