Hello,

I'm having problems receiving money via Paypal.

I have been participating in a contest recently and am eligible to get $250. However, when they try to send this amount to me via Paypal, they encounter this error message:

"We can't complete this transaction. The recipient has exceeded the receiving limit and must provide more information to lift the limit"

My account is verified, and my account limits are 

By transaction: $2 600,85 USD

Account balance: $2 600,85 USD

What could be the problem?

You are talking in dollars and as paypal is country specific best you post on the U.S board and this is the UK one.

Well, I am from Russia and whoever sends me money is probably from the US.

So where shall I report my problem?

Welcome to the Community Forum! Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with receiving your payment.

As this is the Community Forum for the UK, you would need to contact Customer Support for Russia for specific assistance with this, but I have done some research and am glad to provide some information about the limits for Russian PayPal accounts.

Your account does need to be fully verified in order to have your sending and receiving limits lifted. After you add and confirm your card/bank account on your PayPal account, the limits will be as follows:

• Maximum amount that can be kept on your PayPal account balance 100,000 RUB. 
• The highest amount that you can send from your PayPal account in a single transaction is 100,000 RUB. 
• Monthly limit for sending and receiving funds will be unlimited.

Just a couple of questions:

1. Where I can find Paypal customer support for Russia?

I have already pressed the "Contact us" page, and then "Email us" on the right, and I actually emailed twice within the last week -but received no answer. Shall I try the "Call us" link?

2. My paypal balance is "PayPal balance:   $0,00 USD"

Maybe if I switch it to RUB (rubles) it will solve my problem?..

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry to hear that you haven't got a response to your email yet. I would advise to call us so that you can speak to a customer service specialist in order to resolve this.

In regards to the Currency of your balance you can try to switch it to another currency to see if it helps. I am afraid that I cannot guarantee that as we can only provide general information. The best option would be to call us so that we can resolve this with you :).

i have a 2500 receiving limit and i want to lift.

i press lift limits.

and i get a few steps that i need to do but all the steps are striked out.

i have a verified premier account with 2500 a year receiving limit.

i sent like 10 emails,nobody ever answered me.

What security mesure is this.... I want my money! Someone stole my account to ask money from another paypal account? Really guys.... ? JOKE
