I just purchased a jacket and I did not have to put in my password for the transaction to be completed is this safe?

Were you already logged into paypal when you made the transaction??

Is the transaction showing in your paypal account history and does it say completed?

Was it to an ebay or private sale or a company?

I was not logged into PayPal, the transaction is shown in my history and I was buying through eBay.

If you have any concerns, I'd recommend updating your account's password and security questions as soon as possible.

Here’s how to change your password or security questions:

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. In the ‘Password' section, click 'Change'.
4. Choose the account information you want to change and click ‘Edit'.
5. Enter your new password or security questions and answers, and click ‘Save'.
