Berliner Sparkasse Online Banking No Verification Code :(

Hi all,

I'm British and living in Berlin.

I am desperately trying to set up PayPal with my new German bank account, which is with Berliner Sparkasse - Landesbank Berlin AG is the parent. 

PayPal says it has sent the confirmation code but I can't see it anywhere on my online statements, it's just not there. Has anybody else had this problem? Is it that I have to look elsewhere? Would PayPal notify me if there had been a problem?
