Account Restricted after Limits had been lifted

Can someonw help please?

 

I contacted paypal support a week ago but I got no response, now I have send them again an e-mail of the same nature but meanwhile I found the community to address my problem here. 

 

I uploaded all the necessary documents id, proof my residence and everything in order to lift the limits. Then I received a paypal e-mail that my limits had been lifted and now I can withdraw unlimited funds, that was on 29th of December. 

 

Then again out of no reason a week after that, my account gets restricted. There is nothing for me to do as all the documents have been uploaded. After I posted here I received an e-mail from paypal:

 

Dear Alexandros Manolopoulos,

Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding lifting receiving limits

My name is Joanna and I picked up your email today. I am happy to help you with your query today.

First and foremost, I would like to extend my sincerest apologies for the delay in responding to you and for  inconvenience you have experienced in this matter.

I do understand your frustration regarding receiving email saying that the receiving limits were lifted before. Unfortunately that happened due to a technical issue .

 As we cannot lift the receiving limit on your PayPal account until all requirements have been met, we would appreciate your help with completing the steps below, so that we can review your account further.

 

 

The page where we can upload the documents showed again the attachment box and there I uploaded my tax bill. Then I received another notification saying that my tax bill was not valid due to date on the paper (well tax bills are issued from the previous years not this year) but also another problem: 

 

Dear Alexandros Manolopoulos,

Thank you for responding to our requests to further verify your information. As we cannot lift the receiving limit on your PayPal account until all requirements have been met, we would appreciate your help with completing the steps below, so that we can review your account further.

Proof of Identity:

The document you supplied had already expired. Please provide us with new valid documentation that proves your identity.

 

At the page where we upload the info again there was a box to upload the adress of proof but no box to upload my ID. In my frustration I wrote this e-mail and send it through the message center: 

 

Hello, 

I have supplied additional information for you but there are several issues regarding this verification. 

 

One is I supplied you my tax bill and it was rejected but tax bills are only issued for the previous year. So the new tax bill (2016) has not been issued yet. At least that was applies in my country, I am only stating it because tax bill is a document paypal accepts as a proof of address but then rejects it based on dates. Well there is no tax bills that can be issued today. 

 

Second I received an email that says the following:

 

Dear Alexandros Manolopoulos,

Thank you for responding to our requests to further verify your information. As we cannot lift the receiving limit on your PayPal account until all requirements have been met, we would appreciate your help with completing the steps below, so that we can review your account further.

Proof of Identity:

The document you supplied had already expired. Please provide us with new valid documentation that proves your identity.

What is a valid proof of identity?

We accept a copy of:

- Your ID card

- Your driving licence (the plastic card, not the official letter)

- Your Passport

- Other photo ID that was issued by a government body.

Note: The following information must be visible on the document:

- First and last name

- Date of birth

- Date of issue and expiry

- Document ID Number.

Note: The document needs to be fully visible. Partial documents cannot be accepted as a valid proof of identity.


As you understand it is impossible for an ID Card (because that was the document I supplied) to have expired. 


Thirdly when I went to the resolution center there was no way to upload my id card again because the box had been ticked. So which of the two applies? Is my ID valid or not? I hope it is because a) ID Cards do not expire b) this is my official ID card and I can not supply you another one. 


I hope you can resolve this because I am sincerely quite troubled and disappointed by the way Paypal handles the extra information. 


First an e-mail that tells me that the limits have been lifted (and who says that this is not going to happen again), then you want another document that shows address (well I have given you three already), then an e-mail stating my ID has expired (how can an ID card expire?), then I don't know what else. 


Please also take into account that no one feels at ease with his official documents ( ID cards and tax bills) transported through internet, via cable and being exposed so much. At least this procedure should be as painless and as discreet as possible. 


Thank you for your time and please seek into this matter so the issue can be resolved. 

 

At 6.30 am I received an e-mail that my account was back to normal.

 

At 7.00 o'clock I received again the proof of Identity message and my account was blocked. 

 

Now my account is blocked but through the resolution center it says my account has been restored and there is no way I can uplaod any document, which I do not want anyway since my ID is my ID card. ID Cards do not expire.

 

I do not know what to say...This is not paypal this is a comedy. Or a bunch of trolls has taken over the site.

Please restore my account. 

 

ID cards do not expire. If your software compute does not know how to read ID cards change it, you are putting people through increased angst and you are risking his personal information through internet without a reason. 

 

State that you are having a technical reason and the accounts may be blocked for a little while, don't throw the ball to the poor customer. 

 

Do you think that the center of my life is paypal?

 

Until now I have supplied 3 different documents for proof of address...I have send you two e-mails that have been ignored, and now you are asking again for my ID calling it expired. Can you name me an ID card with an expiration date on it?

 

Two times I have been told my limits have been lifted. What the e-mail says and what is happening when I go to the resolution center are two totally different stories contradicting one another. 

 

Please someone resolve the issue with my account.
